Cumann na mBunscoil:


Congratulations to the U11 boys in their blitz in Mullinahone on Wednesday 10th October, they topped their group and now go forward to play in the County Semi final. They will play Barnane National school in the County Semi Final on Tuesday 23rd October in Littleton at 12:00pm.


 U11 girls will travel to Cloneen on Thursday 18th to play in a blitz.  Games begin at 11.30am. Support at these games would be fantastic.


Congratulations to our 1st and 2nd class on winning all their games in Monroe on Wednesday 10th.  They had a great day out and we hope to have more games for the 1st & 2nd class later in the year.



All children from 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th will take part in the Primary Schools Cross County in Clonmel on Wednesday 24th October.  Entry fee for each child is €3 each and the bus will cost €5 each.


Heinz Beanz:

Heinz are running a Sports Equipment token collection from selected Heinz Beanz packs.  If your family purchase these we would greatly appreciate if you can send in your tokens to our school.  This is a great opportunity to help increase our PE equipment.  


Movie Night:

On Thursday 25th October we will hold our Movie Night starting at 6:30pm to 8:30pm as a fundraiser for bus transport. The Movie night is open to all primary school children.


Halloween Dress Up:

Children can dress up for Halloween on Friday 26th October.  We invite children to make their own costumes to cut back on expense. Children are invited to make a small contribution for Crumlin Children’s Hospital. 


Parent Teacher Meetings:


Parent Teacher Meetings will take place during the first week after the Halloween holidays. Dates and times to follow.
