Christmas Movie Night

On Thursday 12th December we will hold our Christmas Movie Night starting at 6:30pm to 8:30pm as a fundraiser for bus transport. The Movie night is open to all primary school children.

On the night children will be given treats which are included in the price below. Treats will included, popcorn, jellies and water. If any child has an allergy could they please inform school ASAP?  Two movies will be shown, one junior movie for Junior’s to Second class and a senior movie for Third to Sixth Class.  We ask children to bring along a cushion.

Please spread the word among children in other schools, relations or neighbours who may like to come along. 

Cost: €7.00 per child entry fee, paid cash on the night.

 

Clothes Recycling

Our next clothes recycling collection is on Friday 13th December.  Please spread the word of this collection with families, friends and neighbours.  Bags can be dropped into the school from now on. 

 

Open Night & Art Exhibition

You are all very welcome to our Art & Crafts Exhibition on Tuesday 17th December from 7.00pm to 9.00pm in the school. 

Parents can park on the ball court at the back of the school.  Please be careful when driving in and out and keep a close eye on your children during the course of the evening. 

 

Christmas Raffle in Aid of School Funds

If any parents/businesses would like to donate items to be included in raffle hampers (e.g. biscuits, chocolates, vouchers, games etc.) we would be delighted to receive them. 

They can be dropped at the office before Thursday 12th December.

Raffle tickets will be on sale in the office from Thursday 12th December and in the staffroom on the night.

Swimming:

Swimming will begin on Wednesday 8th January for 8 weeks for First to Sixth class pupils.  Children will need a towel, swim hat and swim togs.  The cost including the bus hire will be €50 approx payable through the Aladdin system.  With the expenses at Christmas you may leave these payments until the New Year and on or before February 26th 2020.
