During the month of November, we were visiting the doctor’s surgery for aistear. In role play, our patients made appointments to see the doctor or nurse by calling our secretary. Some patients had broken bones, sore heads, had vaccinations to get and many patients needed operations throughout our time here! In our final week we had lots of special teddy bears come to visit our doctors and nurses.

The children used play doh to create. Stethoscopes, ambulances bandages among lots of other doctor and hospital related items! At our writing station, we wrote lots of get well soon cards for people in our class and for our teddies too!

We had our high vis on at our construction site where the children were using blocks and tools to build hospitals with lots of different wards and operating theaters and surgeries. One hospital even had a massive playground where sick children could go to play when they were feeling better.
